With a history of towering turbines, massive crystalline sculptures, and even giant seahorses, we’ve become accustomed to the fact that designer Karl Lagerfeld’s runway is never just an ordinary runway. This time around, models showcased his sporty lineup of tweed coats and chunky knits as they orbited a glittering globe flecked with Chanel flags. And in a world dominated by interlocking double Cs, lips were pink, eyes were sparkling, and hair was seemingly effortless.
